Day 202: African Overlanders – Kapstadt/Capetown
Last night was the last campfire for a while; we spent the evening with Tim (UK) and a French couple.
We're driving via Atlantis ("Black Africa" again) to Melkbosstrand for a second coffee. Weekend vibe.
And then, yes, finally to Cape Town. The last destination of our trip. It's a bit sad, though.
We're lucky enough to be staying in Mary-Ann and Neil's apartment in Nordhoek – wonderful! And thanks to them again for the extremely generous offer! Thanks to the patio with a lemon tree, the birds at the watering hole, and plenty of sunshine, the transition from "always sleeping outside and in a tent" to "being within four walls" isn't quite so difficult.
Daniel, the caretaker of the complex, and Aida, his wife, have prepared everything, and we feel very warmly welcomed.
